Sunday School Teacher Training

Equipping Local Leaders. Reaching the Next Generation.

The Sunday School Teacher Training & Children’s Ministry is a cornerstone of 3AGL’s mission, designed to provide consistent, Christ-centered education and care for children in underserved Amazon communities.

Each year, this program:

  • Trains 50+ local teachers and volunteers

  • Serves 300–500+ children through church-based programs

By equipping local leaders, the ministry ensures long-term sustainability and multiplication of impact.

3. Mentorship & Ongoing Support

High-performing teachers are invited to:

  • Advance into church leadership roles

  • Enroll in the Tri-Border Theological Seminary

  • Train other teachers (multiplication model)

Training is not one-time—it includes:

  • Regular follow-up visits by missionaries

  • Coaching and feedback sessions

  • Peer support among teachers

Outcome: Teachers grow in confidence and remain engaged long-term.

Why Teacher Training Matters

In many Amazon villages:

  • Formal education is limited or inconsistent

  • Trained children's ministry leaders are scarce

  • Churches rely on volunteers with little support

This program transforms willing volunteers into confident, equipped spiritual mentors.
